To the Editor:
I am writing to support Nancy Beninati for Piedmont City Council. I have known Nancy for more than a decade, and over the years I have had many opportunities to see firsthand her commitment to our community.
I met Nancy through the Piedmont League of Women Voters where she served as President. Nancy put a tremendous amount of time and energy into leading the League. She worked hard to make sure the League provided our community with thoughtful, balanced opportunities to learn about important issues and participate in local government. She was organized, prepared, and consistently went above and beyond in serving our community.
Having served on the Piedmont Unified School Board for eight years, I understand the commitment that public service requires. I have seen that same commitment in Nancy. She brings decades of public and community service experience, a willingness to listen and learn, and a genuine commitment to Piedmont and its residents. I know she will bring those qualities to her work on the City Council.
I am proud to support Nancy and hope you will join me in voting for her for City Council.
